There is a lot of advertising on this page, but that's typical of all web pages. However, in the snippet above, notice that the search found 27 web pages dealing with high blood pressure. This is displayed at the top, right corner of the snippet.
You can click on any of them to see what they have to say. Remember to use the Back arrow at the top of the browser or the backspace key on your keyboard to return to the page containing the links. Each page you go to, will also have links to still more web pages. That's how the internet works. It's like and endless tour of links to this, that and whatever. Notice, at the top right corner of the web page where it reads Next 7? That's where you click to see the next page of the seven pages of links. Similar places to click to get to the next page are also at the bottom of each page. |
As you browse the internet, be sure to notice all of what each page presents. Anything you see that makes your mouse pointer turn iinto the finger pointing hand, is a link to another page. The internet is truely a plethora of knowledge. Alas, it is also a dumping ground for trash.
Next I want to do the same search using a different page. The page is the Google web page. So, no matter what page is displayed on your monitor right now, move your mouse pointer to the Address slot on the browser. Click once inside the slot. Then type www.google.com. That's the web page address for Google, no quotes required. I also want you to know, that google is what the nerds call a search engine.
