Finally, place your mouse pointer over the left side of the Notepad window until you see a
horizontal double headed arrow . At the instant you see this arrow hold down the
left button. Then drag to the left, then drag to the right. The window
resizes itself in only the horizontal direction. Getting the button down at the exact instant
you see the horizontal arrow is tricky and takes practice.
Resizing from the right side, top, or bottom can all be done following the same approach as described above. |
When moving the top or bottom edges, you’ll see a vertical double
headed arrow. Practice this until you understand it completely. It's critical.
