HOW TO HANDLE PAPERCLIPS

First let me explain that this material only applies to Microsoft's Outlook Express. If you have AOL, skip this topic.

In Outlook Express, an e-mail message with an attachment is recognized by the message

paperclip icons. An attachment is indicated by a paperclip appearing to the left of the message in the message list and a large paperclip in the preview pane window header as illustrated in the first picture.

If you don't see the large paperclip in the message preview pane, then you need to make some adjustments to your layout.

To make these adjustments, you do the

following:

Go to the View menu, click once, then go to Layout and click once again. You will then see the following Window Layout Properties box:
