Of the three choices shown, in the previous picture, we
want the Combo Box to Find a record... in our Address database. You’ll understand this later when I explain how to use the combo
box. For now just click where indicated above.
The next screen you see is a dialog box, asking us to tell Access what fields contain the information we want to search for with the combobox. | We want the ID field and the LastName field. The ID field is already highlighted, click the little button with the > on it and the field will move over to the right pane. Then click the LastName field to highlight it. Then click the little button with the > on it and the LastName field will move over to the pane on the right. You will then see a screen like the following where you click Next to proceed. |
