Changing Properties on a Form

After you click the hand icon, you’ll see the following:

The term properties is important in Access and in

windows as well. It means the specific characteristics or functional features of an element of software. In our case here, the form has as its Record Source property, our AddressTable. We need to change that property to be the AddressQ (our query).

As indicated in the picture, the drop down arrowhead needs to be clicked to show the property choices for the Record Source property. Then the AddressQ must be clicked to make it the record source instead of the table. Then the property dialog box can be closed by clicking its "X" in the upper right corner. Finally, the form needs to be closed and saved as indicated in the next picture:
