Obviously, you need to have Access 2000 installed on your PC. After Access is installed, you open Access 2000 by going
to Start at the bottom left corner of your screen and click it once with your mouse. Then move the mouse up to
Programs, then move the pointer to the right to Microsoft Access and click once with your mouse.
At this point, I’m going to explain a kind of shorthand I am going to use from time to tome to preclude the need for me to use a lot of pictures and written explanation. Instead of the above explanation of how to open Access, I could have used the following shorthand which I call a "Path procedure": Let me give you the above path: From Desk top Start \ Programs \ Microsoft Access Notice each step is separated by a backslash ( \ ). Without explanation, the path indicates what you need to do. First go to the Start button on the desktop, then to Programs, then to Microsoft Access. |
I assume that if you are interested in using MS Access, you are experienced enough to know where and how to click your mouse.
